1JZGTE Posted July 24, 2013 Share Posted July 24, 2013 Erm, following my rather skillful disc + pad replacement thread, I took the car out for a spin and noticed after about 15 mins, whilst bedding the pads in, that there was a loud banging noise. It was coming from the wheel arch area. Jacked car up at home, and after a feel around I noticed the caliper wasn't very well fixed...one of the bolts has fallen off, I guess because I didn't do it up tightly enough. The top one is there, the bottom is, well, it isn't. So. Where can I get a spare? Is it something generic eg. M10 or M12 bolt. Is Keron worth troubling over something like this? Any advice appreciated, I won't be driving the car until this is sorted, not a good idea. Bugger. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Another option is to call up my Toyota dealer and ask for a new one, but feck knows what I'm gonna ask for without a part number! They are 14mm bolts, that's all I know at the mo...
