MattP
Hi guys can somebody clarify for me that the TT vvti airbox is different to a pre facelift TT airbox and if so in what way?
SPG
The vvti airbox has a build in MAF Sensor, and the non-vvti deos not.

Dnk
Doesn't the MAF just bolt to the airbox the same way it does on a UK spec ? If so i have a complete UK airbox with both the top and bottom air feeds in the for sale section Edited July 23, 2013 by Dnk (see edit history)
Nic
The EPC shows that the actual airbox and lid are the same on the VVTi and non-VVTi, both same part number 17700-46200. The NA airbox is definitely different to the TT. MattP
Can I use a vvti airbox/induction kit on a non vvti uk spec engine? yes just block off the Sensor hole. If your next question is what sensor you should hang yourself.

MattP
Are you sure? How does a vvti airbox attach to a UK spec MAF pipe? It doesnt the VVTI has the Maf sensor on a separate tube the UK has it on the box itself
samdale
It doesnt the VVTI has the Maf sensor on a separate tube the UK has it on the box itself Vice versa. Vvti is moulded onto the airbox, UK has separate pipe Basically, I've only seen a vvti box not a UK one. However I very much doubt they are compatible.
