vibration at the rear

hi guys iam having somewhat of an annoying issue. iam getting a bad vibration from the rear that almost feels like a broken belt in the tire or unblaenced wheel. ive had the car to the wheel and tire place twice to check tires, rebalence ,realign etc. noise is still there. the noise is not consistent come and goes. it seems to come back if I come after it. ive tried pushing in clutch and coasting while noise is there, still the same. iam assuming its drive line related. but really don't know where to go with it. :(

any ideas?

Does it get better when you are on the brakes?

If you have the smaller sliding caliper brakes, undo the x14mm bolts that hold the caliper on, lever it off and place it on an upturned bucket so it doesn't hang from the pipe.

Check the x2 17mm brake pins (where the 14mm brakes pins screw into) spin freely and go in and out of the caliper holder/bracket freely, also check the pads have worn evenly.

Then on the caliper on the bucket check the single piston can be forced back into the caliper.
