Mk4Gaz
Hi guys, i've been searching for about half an hour, and can't find any definitive info....... I'm looking to replace the timing belt, but can't find any guides and/or a parts list of what would be recommended. Even the repair manuals don't seem to appear ? I've done a few mr2 ones in the past, which are a complete biatch, and wondered if any of you fine folk could say how they are to do on a difficulty level ? Any help greatly appreciated as always
Rich.2211
As far as cam belts swaps go the Supra isn't difficult really. For the TRSM go to the Home tab and click Repair Manuals

Mk4Gaz
I did click on the repair manuals link, but all the tabs revealed empty pages? Probably my useless damn computer! Thanks guys, I'll take a look

I've found a kit on the bay that includes the belt, idle pulley and bearings for £60. Seems too cheap! I'm also thinking it might be worthwhile doing the water pump at the same time
markssupra
I would get OEM Toyota belt personally, Koyo bearing is fine though. If its the same kit I just looked at, it only comes with the belt and pulley bearing, not the pulley and tensioner bracket as shown in pic http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA-3-0-JZA80-93-TIMING-CAM-BELT-TENSIONER-KIT-/400172105240?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ASupra&hash=item5d2c1dbe18 Edited July 10, 2013 by markssupra (see edit history)
