fuel line size

have a question about the fuel line size ? how far will a An8 feed line split to 2x an6 to the rail and a An6 return take me ? .. bourght JamieP old hypertune and thinks it is dual AN6 on the rail .. and that was good for 1000rwhp+

what do you mean I have a an8 from tank to just under bulk head then split to an6 to rail. works fine

also with my set up the stock return line is ok line presure stays at 4.3 bar.

Thourgt so Mark. Just read some threads on the us forums. They seemed to be overkilling the fuel lines sometimes. Thanks

 

What is the right micron size for a fuel filter after the pump ?

For 800 bhp approx, which was my original goal, as Mark says I spoke with Hodge and he recommended -8an main splitting to twin -6an. I was going to retain the stock return unless pressure became an issue, which I doubt it will.

 

I bought a single Walbro 450 pump, which should have flowed enough. However, as experienced by Jamiep I was concerned at peak flow if fuel temps would become a problem on a single pump setup.

 

This would probably be negated with the twin Bosch setup, as most seem to do, with the staggered control. Not sure what your setup will be.

Bourght a Magnafuel 625 from Mark ^ .. It have 8an outlet and wanted to run the 8an all the way to the 8an-2x 6an split. And by the sound of it. It seeams to be the way to go. Dont think i will go pass 900bhp
