listy
As I've been away for a month, the Supra was left in the garage, battery off. When I got back yesterday, I reconnected the battery, and she fired up first time. Left her running for an hour or so, to get charge back in the battery. Happy days. Or so I thought Went to start her this morning, and all I get is starter motor click. I'm thinking the battery may be past its best now. Never had a problem with starting before, and as I said, she fired straight up yesterday, so I think I can rule out the starter motor. So, would the battery be the culprit do we think? Just to confirm, from Halfrauds, I need the HCB005 battery?
chrispot
if it started with the battery disconnected after a month I would have thought the battery was ok, could be a slight drain on the battery, I would check that before buying new battery. I would also not buy a battery from halfwits this the link below is a cheaper place to get battery, I have used them about 4 times now and have always had a very good service, plus if you get a varta battery they are a OEM maker of batterys. http://www.performancebatteries.co.uk/wizard/Car+Battery+Finder/results/ Edited July 6, 2013 by chrispot (see edit history)

Abz
I'd also check terminal, did you take it for a run to charge up the battery or just on idle? If the battery is fairly new then the first thing I'd do it drop it off at a car shop & get it charged over night unless you have a battery charger at work (or know of someone who has one). Is it a calcium battery or one of the ones which are not sealed and have the bits at the top where you can top up with water? I would recommend the Halfords, it isn't cheap but you get 4 years warranty & on my old Supra mine started playing up after 2 years (was really my fault as I kept left it standing for ages), they swapped it out with no quibbles & that one only had a 3 warranty on it. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_264087_langId_-1_categoryId_165762
listy
As much as the advice above is great, unfortunately, I had already gone out. Had to jump the old girl, but just hooking up the leads and turning the key did it. Got a new battery (HCB005 from Halfords) with, as Abz says a four year warranty, for £55 in the sale It isnt in the car yet, as this one seems to be playing ball now, but to be fair, I've owned the car for 2 years now, and haven't changed it, and have no idea how long the current one has been in there, so it will be going in over the next couple of days anyway. Cheers for the help guys

chrispot
Jammy git!! That's near enough a 50% discount for a battery which you won't need to worry about for 4 years the battery company i suggested earlier sells them for £55 every day and they are gauranteed for 4 years, and they are a OEM maker of car batterys, and they are delivered for free. I think supras came with a varta battery from new.
