Gentlemen, what do you think of the Nissan 350Z gearbox, I found nely all the parts together with flanges, for 700F, and this gearbox can withstand, exactly as V161

Can you read over this and adjust it so its readable? I'm not being a snob, it's just that this isn't driftworks.

Dude, before you generalise I think more details are required. The 350z had two ranges of gearbox, and there is hardly any information on what power the z33 gearbox's can take. So it's definitely not common knowledge the boxes are v160/1 strong.

 

Can you share where you sourced that information?

In answer;

 

I believe this has been covered before. The 350z gearbox, whilst stronger than a W58, is not as strong as a v160/v161. It is more comparable,(from memory) to the r154 gearbox from a mk3 Supra in terms of power capability.

 

Could be a good conversion though if the parts are of good quality and easy to source. Pray tell!
