girth45
Cam belt change, all going smooth until the dreaded bolt ! First tried my snap on 1/2 drive air gun, running at 110 psi , complete failure bolt just laughed at me OK , I thought ! Time for the big guns 1 inch drive , f1 wheel gun running 20 bar pressure in a dive bottle, connected via high pressure line, Who's the daddy now. Had to gun it all the way, as it had been loctited 648 by the looks of it !

T2 MSW
Why would someone loctite the crank pulley. Theya re done up to such a torque its never coming undone???
ashbuster
because some people use the starter to undo the bolt and then cant torque it so they use loctite and a gun

Swampy442
Every JZ owner should get a crank pulley tool, Ive got one and it makes undoing that bolt an actual piece of wee wee

Kirk
I have to agree with swampy. Not all pulleys bolts come off as easier as others especially if someone has tampered with it before. Had various types of removal tools for this job over the years, some better than others with various levels of success but I've never been 100% happy with them. Then I got this one and it's safe to say I've finally got a tool I consider to be the best for the job.
