Tuscan
My car is a GZ I believe the code on my chassis plate is telling me my car should have LSD can anybody clarify if I'm correct. Code is A340E A02B?
pedrosixfour
Yep. The B signifies the car was fitted with a TorSen diff from the factory.
Tuscan
I have jacked the rear of the car up, while I turn one wheel forward the other one turns backwards. This to me seems wrong unless my diff is worn or it's been changed????? Or does this seem normal???

That is perfectly normal I believe it is how the LSD works, although don't ask me to explain it, I just know that's how it works. and yes as matey said above, GZ was top of the range so was fitted with LSD as standard I believe

ManwithSupra
It may be worth noting (if anyone else is interested) that if you have a clutch driven LSD then both wheels will rotate the same way when they are off the ground. Good little test to see if you do not have a standard LSD but an aftermarket clutch type Diff like TRD, OS Giken etc.
garethr
A Torsen (TORque SENsing) diff operates like an open diff if one wheel has zero grip (no torque to be sensed ).
