any ideas how much it weighs with the turbos and manifold stripped off bud?

but means i would have to rebuild it all on the front garden which i wanted to avoid

would be more hassle

any ideas where i could buy an engine stand thats not wider than 78cm

lower the engine onto a small trolley..., or "borrow" a supermarket trolley or remove the gate/gate post or get Geo to throw it over your house into the back garden. EDIT; Rob had similar idea just quicker than me.:D

thanks bud didnt expect to see a thread on here about weights lol

270kg the tt engine, i thought it would have been a heap load more 500kg plus

is that weight with all the turbo side on and the manifold ect.. if thats the weight of the whole lot then it shouldnt be a problem

yep 270kg is total mate. I too initially thought it was much heavier esp when I had to manually get it off the trailer when I got it home from jurgens without a crane. I WAS SWEATING.
