Gaz B
Complete engine block (cams, injectors, belts and pulleys etc) 1500 quid? (74K in miles on clock) w58 gearbox only, 800? Just curious on prices. What do we think?
Josh42
If I was to tell you I paid £750 for a complete w58 conversion, and £200 for a 60k miles NA engine complete with everything including loom from Keron, would that upset you somewhat? SPG
bit optimistic to say the least chap, £350 is good money for a NA Engine these days, with many going for a lot less.
Kaan W
And you say its just the long block no ancilaries? You can get a low mileage complete turbo lump for that mate.
Gaz B
Lol nah not really. It maybe going to Keron yet anyway if I can't get a buyer (incidentally, it's not for sale yet as I'm on ops in the Middle East. Just weighing up my options) Didn't have a reference point for the engine and gearbox so that helps me. Thanks
Noz
I paid £75 for my engine. Cams, pulleys, etc etc. Gearbox is £350 if your lucky, though I've seen whole conversions for the same. Remember you can get a whole NA car for £2k. Your thinking of TT 6speed prices dude.
SPG
If we were going in sheer reliability then I would say the NA engine should definately be fetching alot more than they are at present.
