mk1its
Hi Guys I'm very new to the Supra scene however was wondering if the front end of a stock TT should feel skippy i.e. not very planted when going around bends. Don't get me wrong, it grips, but skips. I've only owned the car a short time and just wondered wherher this is simply a 20yr old suspension setup and this is what I should expect but there are things I can do to improve things, or that there maybe something not quite right? Any tips?
Nic
If the suspension is all in good working order, it is properly setup, has sensibly sized wheels and decent quality tyres fitted it should feel planted and grip in the corners. First check the make and condition of the tyres, pressures and balancing. Next get the car on a ramp and check the condition of all the suspension components, also torque up all the subframe and suspension bolts to factory specs. Assuming everything is in good working order the next step would be to get the geometry checked/ adjusted.
hackin_n_bashin
Go get the geo aligned, unless your pushing hard, it shouldn't skip. Basically, what Nic said /\ /\
