T14PPA
Ive been stripping my carpet to dye black. Its an easy 20min job however my electric drivers chair is a pain in the .... One side of the chair does not work. Is there anything i can do? It killed me to take it out as i couldnt move chair back or forward. Is there a manual way so i can put it back in in the 5min it should take?

DodgyRog
Check in the runner for a coin or anything that maybe jamming it I bought and Sold a Supra a while back and one of the faults was the this, luckily it was just a 5p coin in the runner

Its weird because when i play about with the front bolt it will go one way but it wont return. I think its an easy fix but i cant see what the problem is
DodgyRog
The plastic block wears and can end up just slightly twisting in the runner causing it to jam What I said earlier is the lucky option and always worth a really good check inside the runner, as even a small bit of grit can jam it If you watch the plastic block in the runner that the threaded bar runs through, you will see it twist as it tries to move back, if it is moving any amount then I don't think there is a repair option Hopefully someone will pop up and prove me wrong on the repair option though
