Suprakeith
Been looking at tidying up few bits in engine bay and have noticed i have a water pipe going to and from throttle body. I guessing this is so that it doesnt freeze in colder parts of world. So question is whats the pro and cons for bypassing throttle body with water pipe? as surly when car is warm its heating the cold air being sucked into engine and surly colder air the better. Sorry if spelling wrong am in middle of 12hour night shift
David P
It can be removed and blanked off at both ends without issue, unless you decide to drive it to Siberia in January. It makes it easier to service the spark plugs too.
Suprakeith
Would you blank it off at throttle body and fit new water pipe to bypass throttle body or just take out water pipes and blank them off? Sorry am very tired and trying to stay awake

Noz
I like the fact your now in the gym and planning to stay awake all night when a few hours ago you were moaning you were sleepy lol I give it till lunch time keith! This will also help when changing spark plugs. I'm hoping to do this when I put mine back together.
