Paul Whiffin
Is there any interest in an Supra specific billet aluminium gearknob? Veilside and Greddy used to make a knob for the supra but both discontinued them years ago so there isn't anything else available now. Interest? Pig
I would be depending on looks and price. Less is more IMO but not sure if others would agree
DaveR
I might be tempted away from my Richbrook gear knob if the base of your one matched up with the lift-up reverse collar more neatly...

Guigsy
I never liked metal ones. Freezing in winter, too hot in summer. The veilside/greddy ones were a good shape though. I have one sat in the garage I swapped out.

ManwithSupra
I really don't like my current polished knob.. its a heavy beast, was going to go to stock but that would look out of place on my car. I would be up for a lightweight Ali one...

squiffy
I use these guys, I had the standard ones which are a nice size but have just ordered one of the drift ones http://yoshibits.com/index.php?id_category=7&controller=category

Westy
Move my Greddy knob from the black car into the bronze as I prefer it to the stock one. I'm sure they would sell if you made them and kept the price competitive...as I'm sure MVP still stock the Greddy for under $
fastcar
I have a vailside that is looking a bit tired now. Could be tempted by a new one maybe

Paul Whiffin
I have the first 6 speed gearknob in my hand right now, oh err missus. It is VERY nice, unlike other "universal" items on the market this is shaped like the original Toyota leather gearknob so feels nice in your hand, made out of aircraft spec billet aluminium, pictures will follow very soon. Paul Whiffin
How does this take your fancy? Machined from billet aluminium and made specifically for the Supra 6 speed, not universal. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/whifbitzproducts/whifbitzalloysupragearknob.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/whifbitzproducts/whifbitzalloysupragearknob2.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/whifbitzproducts/whifbitzalloysupragearknob3.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/whifbitzproducts/whifbitzalloysupragearknob4.jpg

Paul Whiffin
How much dude, and I can be a real pain and ask the weight £120 INC VAT, they are lighter than the standard leather one
j_jza80
Surely it wanted to be slightly heavier than stock? In my experience, lighter gear knobs usually make the gear change in cars worse, not something you want in the inconsistent, and often agricultural feeling change of V160 gearboxes.
