Chris Bailey
Seen this on Pistonheads, Looks pretty cheap for a 550bhp single turbo supra. Looks to good to be true if you ask me! Anyone know any history about the car? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/supra/toyota-supra-base-1998/1350593

Gpro
Its a cheap ebay single turbo kit on it. Premium brands the turbo is slightly angled the cheap manifold/turbo kits are straight and judging by no injectors or ecu its running around 380-420 bhp
Kaan W
Seems about the average price for a single auto of that spec.
Jord
If it seems to good to be true, it usually is Not a fan of those seats, exterior looks decent though for a base car. Maybe someone down that way can check it out for you?
st3ven1
It's got "racing development by TRD". Advert doesn't mention what(if any) ECU it's running. Doesn't mention any extra cooling for the auto box either. "40000 miles" As said you could probably break it for about the same money if need be. bigbloodyturbo
Its a cheap ebay single turbo kit on it. Premium brands the turbo is slightly angled the cheap manifold/turbo kits are straight and judging by no injectors or ecu its running around 380-420 bhp Just because the turbo flange isn't clocked out doesn't mean its a cheap and nasty manifold, you'll find its most likely a cast manifold which if on a budget will be a lot more reliable than a budget tubular manifold. Look at phr's cast manifold, straight like this one. He also hasn't mentioned what ecu or injectors he has but judging by the money spent inside it on fancy gauges and boost controllers I'd be surprised if he's overlooked ecu and fuel control, this add strikes me as someone who doesn't know very much about cars writing an ad, not neccesarily a half arsed effort at a single conversion, could be wrong. If Chris could drive and yeah it probably is to good to be true, could be a nice car, if someone put in the work, I reckon that it used to be an N/A and its been converted, if not then its just Joe has no idea what the on earth he is actually selling, but still good spot all the same Chris
