Hartmann
hey guys .. i am going to change the clucht on my mates car . (twin/ 6-speed) want a single plate clutch to go with the OEM flywheel (no noise ?? ) to handle about 500-600bhp at max one of the things is that he have a bone disease so the pedal presure feel most not be to savage on his leg .. are there any one who have one in mind ? Thanks tobias
Samurai 20V
From my experience, the single plates have a pretty stiff pedal. I have the TRD single plate, its a heavy clutch. (Although not much heavier than OEM) I experienced an ORC triple and Exedy Carbon D (triple), pedal was very soft..
Hartmann
he have a ORC 409 single ind now .. he thinks that is a terrible clucth .. waaay to noisy !
Alex
Southbend DXD-F is supposed to be as light as stock to operate.

Hartmann
that is the one we have in mind yes .. dont think it will rattle with a stock fly wheel ?
imi
Mine is a daily driver (in London) so my needs are identical to yours. Whatever you do, stay away from Southbend - pretty horrendous clutches with Aftersales support to match. I'd go with the SPEC clutches - have a chat with Lee P - he did a combo on my car that drives like stock. imi
Rummy
I have an RPS Streetmax with Southbend PP and have snapped one clutch support bracket so far...
Ian C
I've run an RPS Street Max for about 9 years now and it's fine, but it is a noticeably stiffer pedal than stock - it might not be appropriate for your friends' condition.
Luxluc
I had a RPS max clutch in my Supra before the RPS triple carbon. Very nice clutch .. light pedal feel .. almost like stock.
SteveC
I use a Centerforce Dual Friction - but only to BPU level. It works perfectly with the stock flywheel, no noise, seems to me as light as stock and, according to Centerforce, will hold up to an extra 95% torque. I'm sure I've read on here about someone who was using one without any problems with around 600bhp.
JamieP
Another shout for the RPS street max here, brilliant clutch IMO, I did over 20k on mine and was still good when I sold it, handled 630bhp just fine and I did a lot of drag starts with it.
