ellis
That looks ace. Great work Ellis. Your car is looking amazing. If I plasti-dipped my wand, would i still need to use precaution? Doubtful mate, couple of quick sprays, job done
Graham1984
Thanks ellis they were the shots I wanted to see, looks great an the clour of it against your car looks spot on. I plasti dipped my wand Ed which 1) didn't take long at all 2) after 1million coats I still have nearly a full can left.

Steve Paine
There is one thing that is a cert! Ellis never dies a job by halves. What a lovely look that gives! Just for me mate where can I get the splitter blade for the front air intake?

Just for me mate where can I get the splitter blade for the front air intake? You mean the facelift bar? Not sure if you can retro-fit them to a non-facelift bumper but am happy to be proved wrong on that!
Josh42
I'm sure I heard Westy say he had just done this on the 1A1 but I may be wrong? Looks like an excellent job you've made of this Ellis, let us know how it holds up!

Have 2 drilled holes either side that would be in the right position, would like to give it a go, but just need to source the bar?
kitch79
It was just the standard black. Spoiler blade had about 6-7 coats - splitter attached to the bumper had about 4. Goes on better with more coats as it really builds up nicely. Just for Graham - more pics - I went out especially for you! http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll206/ellisgrange/Spoiler4-1_zps1a5ea25d.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll206/ellisgrange/Spoiler5_zps004b2f20.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll206/ellisgrange/Spoiler6_zps833c9e4f.jpg So nearly 5 months on, how has the plasti dip coped? Still look as good now as in the pic from june?

Tsia
Definitely interested to see this after a little incident with a speed bump this week...
skippyboyo1
This will last fine if the prep was good. I have my off road bikes rims done and that gets nailed through all sorts off turrain. Plasti dips enemy no matter what people say is the jet wash.... Be v careful and you will be fine
TubbyTwo
My dash is still going strong from when I did them back in that post. No damage at all or wear marks.

skippyboyo1
How much is it ? eBay "plasti dip" there is no such product as plasti dip primer yet that is spray on. You have to paint it in with a brush. Just for reference
