Andrew K
Very, very nice work with that defi controller mounting. Really clean install bud Thanks Gaz Been inspired by other people's ideas and yours so thought I'd try and do something a little bit different, never seen it done like this before and hate the look when people just stick them on the dash somewhere or under the steering wheel! Andrew K
I know when i come to do the gear box tunnel conversion this lot will have to come out again but i`m starting to get moaned at quiet a bit now as the dining room and conservatory are starting to look like a car parts warehouse lol, so as the black carpet and head lining i have are large items that take up to much storage space i thought id make a start at fitting it all old Grey carpet gone! Nice clean black carpet in and my black mats looks so much better! Run out of time to start on the swapping over of the head lining to the full black set i have so will be a job for next weekend now. Andrew K
Not a great deal has happened with my build recently but I have been gathering some parts up from Mr Toyota and Whifbitz etc. New gearbox oil for the V161 New drop links and rubber mounting bushes for the Anti roll bar when it's ready to go on, also got a new rear diff cushion As the N/A has one missing in the rear sub frame but has the hole there ready to fit one. I started a thread regarding this plug but finally found what I was after my engine loom's from an Auto TT so the plugs need modifying down at the gear box end and a few chopping off! This is the plug that needs putting on the loom in place of the big grey plug which was for the auto box, I wanted to use the original plug to make it a proper job instead of using rubbish aftermarket ones. New clutch master cylinder and rubber dust boot protectors and pipe work plus brake pedal assembly for the gearbox conversation, also a new panel for the gearbox tunnel that has to be changed when converting from Auto to Manual. New Syvecs Ecu from Whifbitz Another addition to the shopping list was one of these a nice new Lexan spark plug cover (the full version type) been after one of these for flipping ages and now finally have one. Andrew K
Finally got round to getting the TT Anti roll bar I have down to the sand blasters for a good clean up! Now it's back and all nice and clean it was ready for a nice fresh coat of black paint also got the mounting brackets done for the Anti roll bar so will be giving these a nice coat of paint as well.
