what would happen if

From what I understand low impedence injectors run a lower resistance in ohm's compared to higher impedance injectors. If you run 12v through them with their lower resistance you create a higher current. This higher current can be high enough to burn up the ECU. The resistor pack just adds resistance to the injectors so less of a current is seen by the ECU and you won't be in risk of frying it.

Not sure if it would have the same effect but I have an AEM ems and when I tried mapping my car on low impedance injectors without a resistor pack the fuel started leaning out ridiculously making it impossible to map.

but the car started

thanks for that

It just depends on what current the ECU's injector drivers are built to see.

Syvecs know what the ECU can safely run current wise, so it may have started, but it would be a risk not worth running for the sake of fitting a resistor box.

The higher currents could play around with the injector drivers on the ECU and just cause damage which isn't necessary.
