Dnk
I'd be interested in a group buy. Sorry if this is a stupid question (and I know it probably is) but will these allow the car to be set up to sit right if swopping between 17" & 18" wheels? You can keep the same ride height by lowering the profile of the tyres on the 18" wheels even when using o/e dampers and springs Put the stock sizes in the calculator and then your new size to see what profile/width of tyre gets you nearest to the stock overall tyre diameter http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm Edited June 1, 2013 by Dnk (see edit history)
thetrashcanman
Also had them on my last car, with the solid bushes it had, it still had a very comfortable ride and handled really well, after a proper geo setup obviously, would also be interested in a set of these if you can set up a group buy Rob

Chris Bailey
Has anyone done any decent mileage on these yet ? It was one of the first mods dad did to the car, And he's had the car around a year now. So they must of been on the car for about 8000 miles.
Dnk
I've done over 12,000 on mine in a year! I was thinking over 50k or more to be honest, my o/e dampers did over 100k before a rear failed

I don't think you can get better coilovers for under a grand Had bc before and wasn't impressed with quality Hsd are much more solid units that don't seem to seize half as bad

Great thanks dude!! I am still leaning towards to the BC. To the owners of BC, how comfy are they in comparison to the stock setup? In the sense if the missus drives it around will she need her teeth replaced? This is around town driving?

Branners
Abz, I'm an old man now, I went back to an auto with stock twins for comfort and I find the ride just fine on almost all surfaces. They have 18 clicks of softness so you can tweak them to be softer, I run mine on 14 out of 18 clicks. Wheels in Motion fitted mine and did the geo afterwards and so they choose the best settings based on what I said I preferred.

I am sold on them now Thanks JB, I am vaguely remembering you mentioning about the softness settings! My back has had enough punishment over the years so I'd like to at least make it to 60!! Branners
I can probably pop round some time and you can take it for a drive to see how it rides on the crap roads of London.
Guest Budz86
I much preferred my BC's over the Teins I have now, although the BC's were new and I'm not sure how many miles the Teins have covered. Plus, they are easier to adjust the damper settings on using the dial on top, whereas the Teins need an allen key. It's the little things that count as I'm a lazy mofo!
