jim
Does anyone know if an 18" x 9.5j et12 will fit ok without rolling the rear arch please? Anyone running that fitment and if so any pics?
JamieP
They won't fit, you would need a heavy arch roll.
jay200bhp
mine are a similar offset and they are heavily rolled as per mr price

Nic
They'd stick out beyond the stock rear arches by nearly 2cm.
jim
Thanks Nic is that from experience or are you calculating it? Is there a general rule of thumb then that on a 9.5j that et14 would be flush with the arch?
pedrosixfour
Offset is given in mm Jim If Nic's calculation is right and the 18 x 9.5" et+12 will protrud by 2cm then in order to have a similar width rim sit flush with the arch the offset would need to be in the region of +
mattdavies
A £90 arch roll and a little stretch will give you tons of space. Look at MarcAB supra
Nic
Thanks Nic is that from experience or are you calculating it? I'm calculating it from experience This is a pic of mine fitted with 18x9 +32 front and 18x10 +32 rears, the wheels sit practically flush with the arches but needed a small amount of rolling so the tyres wouldn't rub. I usually work - as do a lot of Japanese wheel manufacturers - from the rule that Front 9" +35 and Rear 10" +35 should fit flush with the stock arches without rolling them (although this will vary depending on what size and model of tyres are fitted). So if you use 10" +35 as a starting point, in comparison the 9.5" +12 wheels you are asking about will sit 17mm further out. Alternatively if you compare them with my wheels pictures 14mm further out. Edited May 31, 2013 by Nic (see edit history)
jim
Thanks again Nic I knew that it was measured in mm too Damien, brain fart/too many dutch ciggies last night maybe You'd think picking a new set of wheels would be a nice experience, it's not, it's torture!
