supraman.chris
Is there a link on here for a diagram representation of a complete front to back exhaust system including individual parts for an J-Spec '93 TT RZ? Trying to understand how many decats i need
listy
If you have a cat back exhaust system, then you need two. One for the cat that is under the car, and one that leads to the down pipe.
mellonman
2 decat cats mate every time, there is one that comes down as a down pipe and the one that goes flat along from near tge fro t to about the middle of the car Im very sure the links on the front home page will show in the repair manuals
supraman.chris
Cheers guys. Worth holding onto my cats for MOT's? Have a Nur Spec exhaust system. What are the benefits of the decats apart from exhaust flow?
listy
Better flow, and more noise If going double decat, make sure you get a restrictor ring in place, else you will over boost, and pop your turbos.
mellonman
You will need to replace the fuel pump also and get a restrictor ring to stop over boost, bpu please click on the bpu

supraman.chris
Cheers for the plug 'Ballsdeep' lol. But that just confuses me further as why is that pipe section so long but both 1st and 2nd decats on garage Whifbitz look short wee things for a j-spec TT?
