Branners
I need to change my front tyres, they have been on the same wheels for about 10 years now and are showing a little bit of cracking. I have Bridgestone S-02 on the rear, anybody recommend some good Bridgestones or other make for the front? They are 235x40x18 I think. Josh42
I personally cannot fault the Falken FK452's, However the Toyo T1R's are meant to be a good all round tyre. Failing all that Bridgestone RE070's if your feeling flush!

Stevo
On my second lot too know and wouldn't go back ti Falkens given the choice. Mine is a daily driver and the wear rate is pretty good as well.

Tyson
I'd personally want a matched set This. But my goodyears eagle f1's have epic amounts of grip in the dry and wet !!
James
I believe that the FK452 has actually been discontinued and rev'd up to the 453 - lots of avenues don't hold any stock of the 452 anymore. I've recently put on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric (245/35/18) and they are great tyres. I wish that I made the change to them sooner than I did - much better handling. As for Toyo (T1R & T1S), I had them on my old VW and didn't rate their wet performance in the slightest. In the dry they were good though. Branners
If I could match an S-02 then I would!! Cannot really afford to scrap 2 excellent rear tyres to get to a matched set, and its been unmatched for about the last 5 years so it should be fine. I like all the grip to be on the rear, I wont corner hard in the wet, but I will accelerate hard and need good rears for that. Almost nothing recommended from the Bridgestone range, do they not have a class leading tyre now?

mattdavies
I have potenza's on the rear of mine and cannot fault them. They are a very good tyre in dry and wet, for straight line grip I have never had an issue with them.
Graham1984
I have a full set of the Hankook evo12 ventus on my car and they seem great, the previous rear set I had lasted ages too and the price was also good in comparison.
