Mk4Gaz
They are excellent boost controllers, I've had two, and never had problem. Set closed loop, set gain as low as possible, up until you get a boost spike, then back it off, and set the duty to reach your target boost. The lowest duty entry is 10, To achieve 1.2 bar, you might need a duty of around 50, and a gain of 10. Just don't have the gain too high, and never higher than your duty setting. One of the simplest controllers to set up, much like the blitz SBC or profec b
jza800
i haved heard the the gain should be about 3 psi from the duty set.. how does it Work on twin turbo engine? haved you tried that??
Mk4Gaz
I haven't yet no, but will be soon. The gain setting is just an input figure, and will vary between cars, its not related to psi or target boost, its just a value that the higher the number, the quicker the turbo will spool. Obviously too higher setting can cause the turbo to spike, as it spools faster than the solenoid can react. The duty is where you set your target boost. Start around 20-30 with a gain of say 5, and keep increasing the duty until you reach your max boost target. Then increase the gain until you're happy with the boost delivery, or it starts to spike, then back it off.
