arne
I own a TT J-spec BPU. what kind of walbro (lph) is recommended for this? I'm driving on "98" fuel (I don't know if it's called the same in England?)
Jos
I believe the 255l version is more than enough for bpu.

arne
and what's the best one and why? an inline external or an in-tank?
Nic
and what's the best one and why? an inline external or an in-tank? The GSS342 Walbro pump is a straight swap for the stock in tank pump. pedrosixfour
Just to add to the confusion I bought one of these after the new Walbro I installed seized solid after about 12 hours of use. http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-page/fuel-pumps/11142-340-stealth-fuel-pump-offset-inlet-inline/ For a bit more money these seem to be a far better design (impeller rather than gears), flow more at similar pressures and are also a direct replacement for the stock fuel pump. The only thing I will say is that I needed to supply the pump with a constant 12v power supply, done using the existing wiring at the tank plus one new relay, to get it to run properly. I may have just been unlucky with the Walbro, it is very rare to hear of them failing, but I'd still chose the Aeromotive design over the Walbro everytime.
