Hi all

Fitted a Positive charging System yesterday then had a run from Folkestone to London. Got to say really noticed the difference.

Have heard mixed reviews about these but it works for me.

She drove fine before but now its just better. :) more responsive, a lot smoother, Lights are brighter inside and out. ( HD dashboard and Hid fogs and main with Led day running lights.)

Its the TRD system very pleased with it.

will stick a shot up later, all singing all dancing S4 wont let me attach one.

Bye for now.

This is a generic system just scraped the label. ;)

System comes from CR Performance. Can't complain got it for free!

hl DaveR im not in the technical know myself. I have seen an improvement in all electrics and performance feels lke the engine is now concentrating on itself and all other power needs are supplied by the box.

I was told that all the sensors work better as the ecu receives information better. As I say he dumbed down the explanation. All I know is she drives a lot better. :D

The idea behind this is that it stores electricity like a capacitor so there is a burst of electricity when required, which in turn aids in better acceleration and a better burn of the fuel.

It also earths more of the cars electronics which works by creating less electronic interference to give a crisper acceleration.

Apparently they work well. But to an extent that you would notice, not a chance as its minimal.

To the op, if you are noticing a difference then I suggest you check your car and engine over as something might not be running 100%

so basically.....a power cap that is widely used in sound installs..............with fewer connectors and similar logic :D only difference being....it's usually seen inside the cabin/boot rather than right next to the battery..........

earthing more car electrics...........hmm........I thought the bare metal bits on a car acted as earthing terminals anyway :S

Yep I did have some earthing issues before couldn't trace the fault but felt the power drain now and again. Whatever the issue was it's now fixed:)

Between the hid lights, alarm , stereo , sat nav, and phone charger. My guess was the lights had them fitted as my sausage fingers couldn't get enough room. I did upgrade the battery made very little difference.

Anyway as I said got it for nowt and all issues fixed. Made a big difference for me, which is nice:p
