tkddav3
Alright chums, need help! Fitting some new skirts as my old veilsides where looking abit tired. Removed them to find that whoever fitted them has used some adhesive to stick them aswell as bolting. It's rather strong stuff which meant my pols skirts have broken in the process. Anybody have any suggestions on how to soften up this stuff or a good way to remove it? Any advice is welcome guys as I don't wanna damage anything! Kaan W
I managed to peel it off when I removed my spats, same stuff. Try and prize a corner off with a flat edge and soft cloth underneith then pull it off with brute force. It might take some paint though. Yeah that's the idea Im trying right now, the area should be covered by the new skirts so a little paint chip shouldn't be a problem. Stuff is hard a nails though! listy
Heat it up with a hair dryer or heat gun first. Should soften it a bit and make it easier to remove.
FOSTA
I used a heat gun and a thing called a chizler ( hard plastic thing that is quite sharp but not sharp enough to scratch the paint) I can send one out on Monday if you can wait that long?
