James
Lovely mate, so nice to see such a clean example. Why is there no bar in the front, did it come like that or did you have it taken out? stunning either way, love the clean lines and stock look, enjoy, I know you will. It turns out the bar wasn't there! I have one spare though, just need it painted and fitted (if I decide to) Those clocks are awesome. They sure are - very happy with them! Except the actual analog clock - it doesn't work!! Looks awesome James, how's she drive?? It's really nice John! So smooth off boost and has so much traction on boost! It is just great and so worth the wait! Wish I did this way sooner! Lost for words Me too! So nice! Hard to believe it is all mine Awesome looking Supra. Thanks Luc! Almost finished visually! James
This thread needs more pics! Have you fitted the Kansai lip yet mate!? I haven't! It is still down in Glasgow! I'll get it fitted next time I'm down hopefully! The diffuser should be on by then too!
James
As it transpired, this weekend was a fun one with the car! Went down to Driftland in Fife with Team Beard. Nice little drive down and as it ended up won club stand of the show - we only had my Supra, marcAB10's Supra, Monsween's Supra, a GS300 and 2 mk1 MX-5s! Great success! Here are a few pictures from the journey to the show and of the cars on the stand: https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/1077023_10151778319162668_2079560605_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc1/1119868_10151778313882668_1429644840_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/1091122_10151778313977668_1087026091_o.jpg A good one showing the arch flare: https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/1077812_10151778317152668_1252840847_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/1078910_10151778318152668_1834004831_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/1001090_559986964066036_503049406_n.jpg Following the show, we decided to get things in motion with my pending parts! Last night resulted in finally getting the carbon HKS Kansai lip and Shine carbon diffuser fitted! I'm really pleased with both parts! That has been almost a year that I've had them both so to finally see them fitted is great! I don't know of any other carbon Kansai lips in the UK either? This pleases me I much prefer the diffuser being on there as well as the height all the way round is balanced a little more and it compliments the lip as well. Awesome! I don't know of anything else that I want to do to the exterior apart from put on my private plate (unless I eventually smooth the aerial, rear washer nozzle + wiper etc.) so I think it is externally complete! Now it is just a case of enjoying it as is! https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/1095046_523333821063_492286343_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/1097985_523346221213_2066842492_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/1000319_523346161333_814523277_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/993632_523346191273_2134770718_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/531804_523346246163_1901403494_n.jpg

Style
Ridox skirts to complete a sort of carbon lip around the car? That's about my only suggestion since it looks awesome as is!
James
F*ck Toyota and that stupid aluminium runner for the front lip. Ps looks awesome dude Haha yeah, what a nightmare! When you were away picking up the blades I was having a go at it and ended up just lying down on the trolley frustrated! Glad that problem isn't existing anymore Thanks once again buddy Ridox skirts to complete a sort of carbon lip around the car? That's about my only suggestion since it looks awesome as is! The thought has already crossed my mind, but I'll probably leave it as is! I also have some Top Secret skirts in the garage but don't think I'll bother as the OEM skirts and the Kansai follow each other so well! If I DO change the skirts, it'll be to Ridox though for exactly the reason you suggested
Rob_Mitchell
That looks the bollox! i would leave it well alone now!
Littler
Really liking the car dude! Not a fan of the lip but that's just personal preference I don't think anything else needs doing to the look of it
James
That looks the bollox! i would leave it well alone now! Yep dude - nothing needs done (externally)! So chuffed with it! Though, as it is such a nice example, I'll be at shows with it so will want to have the bonnet up - things like a strut brace (the Whifbitz titanium TRD style one) become tempting
James
Really liking the car dude! Not a fan of the lip but that's just personal preference I don't think anything else needs doing to the look of it I had doubts about it a little before taking the plunge and buying it and then also when I had it sitting in the spare room waiting to be fitted but now that it is on, I absolutely love it! I'll maybe just need to find the 'right' angle for it, but it is great haha!

It's definitely to do with the angle your taking the picture from mate, the first picture sort of looking straight down on it wasn't my cup of tea, but looking at the others it looks epic and always nice to have something a bit different

listy
+1 for the ridox skirts mate. OEM with a carbon skirt lip, as it were. The carbon all round would look great, but will hardly change the look it has now. Looking great too. I'm secretly a stock body fan, but ssshhhhhh don't tell anyone!!!! James
Any more thoughts on the clutch if its right or not? Nothing has changed and Jurgen is pretty insistent that it is the way it is meant to be. I'll post up videos regardless for some feedback from others too! To everyone else - thank you very much for the compliments! I can't stop looking at the car! When putting the Kansai lip on, we noticed the screamer pipe over on the driver's side.
