Chris Bailey
Would 256 cams benifit a single turbo supra - I'd imagine the 256 cams are better for lower down in the rev range? Edited May 31, 2013 by Lee P (see edit history)

RobUK
Would 256 cams benifit a single turbo supra - I'd imagine the 256 cams are better for lower down in the rev range? Would they be ok in a bpu supra?

Chris Bailey
Would they be ok in a bpu supra? I dont see why not - I suppose any uprated cams would benifit!
Lee P
You could put them in a bpu car no problem. same gains really only difference is the turbo setup runs out of puff at the top end.
Guest aspire
are the piston rings for the stock TT pistons, they just replace the standard OEM rings?
Chris Bailey
are the piston rings for the stock TT pistons, they just replace the standard OEM rings? I'd imagine the piston rings are for forged pistons. Im only saying that because it says 87mm
Guest aspire
whats the standard ring size chris?
Chris Bailey
whats the standard ring size chris? Not to sure tbh mate. Smaller than 86mm
Kaan W
Stock piston size is 86mm, these will not fit.
Chris Bailey
Stock piston size is 86mm, these will not fit. I thought it was smaller because CP Forged Pistons are 86mm. Clearly I have no clue
Kaan W
I thought it was smaller because CP Forged Pistons are 86mm. Clearly I have no clue Yeah they make them in stock size for people not wanting to increase displacment but up the power. Dont ask me why becuase I thought new pistons require a rebore which means going with the next size up, but thats where I could be wrong 86mm stroke x 86mm piston = 3.0 86mm stroke x 87mm piston = 3.
