Hey guys, im new to forced induction cars, so take it easy on me:d. Anyway i have just acquired my dream car, us-spec 1994 tt 6 speed 63k miles. Everything seems to be running, fine and the car pulls hard. When i bought the car the previous owner was running 100 octane unleaded race gas, and had the boost up, im guessing around 20psi. I asked him to turn the boost controller off as i was unaware as to whether i would be able to find race gas where i live(MD, USA). Alas i have been unable to locate race gas the only thing i could find was leaded and around 11 dollars a gallon, so ive decided to run on 93 octane pump gas instead. from what ive read about 17 psi is safe for pump gas, so im gonna try running it at 16 psi to be on the safe side, could someone confirm this please. Also does the car need to be retuned once i up the boost to 16 psi. Here is a list of mods done to the car. Thanks for your time!

Garrett gt 28 stock turbo upgrade

Tanabe racing medalion exhaust

Sound performance down pipe

HKS EVC EZ Boost controller

HKS type 1 turbo timer
