pedrosixfour
Would it not be simpler/cheaper to buy a good second hand unit complete?

pedrosixfour
if i could find one any ideas ? Sorry mate, only copped your request. This would appear to fit the bill, can't guarantee it is still available though http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?287107-TT-Auto-LSD-Diff-(AO2B)-for-sale&highlight=diff To make the most of this unfortunate drivetrain failure it might be the perfect opportunity to decide what you would like the car to perform well at, top speed runs, better acceleration or simply motorway cruising. There are several gear ratios available to you in the small diff casing that would/might set the car up slightly better for your preferred driving style. Homer's gear ratio calculator (in the technical section) is an invaluable bit of kit for getting an idea of what different diff ratios can offer when paired with a particular transmission. I myself run a 4.273 final drive ratio with TorSen in my track car, I believe it would be known as an A05B diff in the states where it is fitted to some domestic NA Supra & Soarer models. I bought the gears from a breaker in Chicago and fitted them to my own A01B when they arrived in a mate's suitcase.
