JohnA
Are you talking about the EBV actuator rod?

JohnA
Is it the "S" shaped thing near the yellow arrow? http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/images/supra/hotspot_locations/EGBV.jpg
DAVEBOY
i think thats it all i could do is feel it and got it moving again with some force and wd40
JohnA
It's not meant to move freely, it's not a door hinge, lol... There is the actuator spring (on the right, outside the picture) that you have to overcome first, so it would take some force to move it by hand. Normally boost pressure is sent at the back of the actuator and the rod moves, it takes 6-7psi to crack it open a bit
DAVEBOY
i did move it some but it was soild does that mean that my second turbo was not working while this was jamed , and i have 18 inch arms that helps.
JohnA
That is used mainly for the pre-spool of #2, so if it is jammed (and everything else is working OK) then you'd just lose the prespool, and possibly damage the turbo in the long term. After 4Krpm both turbos would work together, the EBV is irrelevant at high revs.
eyefi
i have 18 inch arms that helps. that's short, no wonder you couldn't move it
