Pulley
Ok so, doing some road pulls (private roads) Up thru the gears and have set my boost controller for 1 bar high and .8 low setting Fuelling map seems spot on in all load situations Just wondered if any other 10-1 compression ratio NA-T guys out there can help confirm with afr figures At 1 bar I am getting a stable 10- 10.5 afr at wot Judging from lack of pink or knock and good egt this seems spot on to me Had lots of fun today in this amazing summer weather Hope everyone else is loving the supra shine All ready for japfest
Noz
Get a dyno mate. Be great to know what your running. What's your timing like on full boost?
Pulley
Get a dyno mate. Be great to know what your running. What's your timing like on full boost? Already know dyno figures at .8 bar , and that was 405bhp And now the system has been running fora while I have a different dyno lined up for my 1 bar output Egt and afr all seem stable, and it feels like it pulls much stronger at 1 bar
mellonman
Is 10- 10.5 abit rich, dont want to get bore wash
Pulley
Is 10- 10.5 abit rich, dont want to get bore wash So you think 11, 11.5 should be better? I started out rich just to be safe
mellonman
11.5 is the total limit with knock detection, but I would always aim for 11-11.2 That being said you still ned to know the timing before just upping the boost even more so on a na/t. Cheers for the advice, I actually tuned my timing when I had the engine out, not such a realistic dyno as road and full drivetrain but I was able to "listen" to the ignition timing Only draw back of my fuelling is I'm unable to actively retard my timing I'm only running a crude additional injector controller on map and rpm curves After running a week or so on current fuelling and boost I endoscoped my bores and piston crowns and all looks great And given the varied testing (hills, motorways, varying loading pulls ) I can't be too far off I just wondered wot the afr figures should ideally be at 10-1 with .8- 1 bar boost Ideally soon I will be running lower compression
