Carbon_Bullet
Well since the car is in bits I'm going to replace the fuel lines, just wondering what the size is (6AN)? I will also replace the fuel filter, the cars is going single turbo so would I need slightly bigger? future events I maybe going forged etc So what's the size? Where's best place to buy it? How much piping will I need? Thanks
hodge
Just sent you a p.m bud. I need to go to my hydraulics supplier over the next week for a line for my intercooler spray so I could get you a set if needed.
hodge
Hang on, think I might actually have a set of -8AN lines in the shed

LOGIE
Im also interested in what the standard size is? I need to replace mine as a local mechanic rounded off the nut that screws into the fuel filter so I need a new fuel line.
hodge
It's slightly smaller than -6AN. If I were you I'd just upgrade it to -6AN braided line. Much easier to fit and less restriction

LOGIE
will the 6AN braided line still fit in the recess' that the standard copper line went into on the underside of the car? Edited May 6, 2013 by LOGIE (see edit history)
hodge
If you mean the fuel line guard under the car then yes. I've got a -10AN in there on mine
