Ian C
While I was looking for an image from the Evil Dead 2 film, I found this website: http://www.freewebs.com/kickasshorrorreviews/ladies_of_evil_dead.htm Scroll down a page or so so that the writing fills the web browser. Do your eyes wig out and put a 3d effect on the text, the red in the foreground and the blue in the background? Or is it just me? -Ian

RedM
I can see what you mean. The red appears to be about 1cm 'above' the page. A common effect I believe. Being able to see it is a sign of good eyesight.

Ian C
Oh, fuck you all Except for RedM It really really does my head in, I can't read that page! Are other people seriously unaffected by it? It's like a pseudo-3d magic eye effect. And yes, Evil Dead 2 rocks, Army of Darkenss is great but more for the comedy stakes -Ian
magicmatty
I definately found the blue text sinking away from me, and the illusion that the red text was nearer !!!!!
Soop Dogg
Must be something to do with that oingy-boingy suspension you're running around with in the back of your motor, mate!! Your eyes are obviously still moving around trying to compensate for it!
Sharpie
What writing? Put them back on.....
_Lick_
The red writing apears much sharper than the blue. They do tests at the optician using similer effects......Put a lens in front of your eye then say "which is sharper the red or the green".... then again with a different strenth lens.... then again ...and again!! They always look the bloody same to me!
Homer
I'm with RedM and Ian on this, its looks fookin wierd, the red and blue lettering seems to jump out at you... I've had this problem with web pages before, seems only to bother me if I wear contacts or glasses though.. doesn't effect me without them!! Yeah, I'm the same if I have my contacts in. Bright green writing on black BG's are difficult for me to read sometimes and usually make my eyes water
