Fly
Hi guys, I forgot to pick up my multimeter so I can't check which is the fuel injector power wire on my na. Anyone lend a hand? I need the power wires or conversely if you can tell me which is the signal wire I can work the rest out on all six injectors. Thanks
Andy Blyth
The power wire to each injector is black with an orange stripe. The wire to the ECU on each injector will be red, often with a coloured stripe depending on the position.
Fly
Thanks dude. I have a spare loom that agrees with you. All have black and oranges striped wires with a red wire too. However my loom ...all have black and white wires to the injectors and another that varies in colour from jet to jet anywhere from red, red with blue stripe, blue completely. Is the coloured wire here the power wire?
Andy Blyth
I'm not sure. I would recommend testing each connector with a multimeter, just to be sure.
Tricky-Ricky
Usually injector wire are coloured the same for the + feed and each one different for the feed/trigger wires from the ECU, negative trigged.
Fly
Ahh here comes the knowledge so are you saying my power wires are my black and whites as each jet has them? To keep you in the picture it's so I can splice in with a resistor box

To keep you in the picture it's so I can splice in with a resistor box As the injectors are negative triggered and have to fire in sequence, all the negative trigger wires will be individually coloured for identification, and all the positive wires will be the same colour.
