girth45
Hi was looking to refurbish my facelift headlights, the chrome around light bezels is peeling away, how to I make this good, is it a case of repainting with chrome paint?
Fly
There is a guide on here if you search headlight refurb. I did mine yesterday but painted the rings black. You could always mask the rings off and paint them with a chrome paint but then chrome paint only really looks like a shiny silver. Up to you really. Here's the guide http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?153261-Refurb-and-painting-headlights-guide&highlight=Headlight+refurb Page five of my build is headlight refurb http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?284530-Flys-NA-T If you use the guide do not put your headlight in a 200 degree oven, I used 160 fan assisted and preheated it , put the headlight in for four minutes checking it after two and it was fine.
