Westy Posted April 14, 2014 Author Share Posted April 14, 2014 Happy to report that cleaning the ICV and slight adjustment of the throttle has completely resolved my idle issue. Before the car was 1400 rpm on start and fell to 1200, but now it starts up at 1000 rpm and drops to 600-700 rpm when warm! On another plus note I received a stock airbox and all piping through the post this morning. Once cleaned up I'll fit it in place if the current HKS filter. jim Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 Maybe different for a tt, but I really noticed an improvement when driving with the stock airbox compared to the induction kit.
