Westy
Always said I'd never let anyone drive my cars mate. That way I'm the only one to blame if anything goes wrong.
DaveR
Tried to create a garage when I got this car mate, but I can't do it for some reason and can't add any pics into the garage for the black car either...!? Most likely reason is that I've or gotten how to do it right!lol Ah now that's quite interesting because it doesn't let me make regular adjustments and updates to mine either. Maybe there's an issue with the site? Always said I'd never let anyone drive my cars mate. That way I'm the only one to blame if anything goes wrong. Also, good shout. Westy
Cleaned the car again today and afterwards I decided to clay bar the paint as you could feel that there was contaminants on the surface! Obviously some panels were worse than others but by far the worst was the bonnet which I had to do 7 times!!! The paint is now prepped and feeling super smooth, so tomorrow I will machine polish the whole car and seal with a couple of coats of wax. Westy
Car has now been fully machine polished and waxed. Finally the paint is up to standard...can't believe the contaminants that claying removed! Also gave the engine a quick wipe over: Since the car was clean and I recently took possession of the club banners I thought an impromtu photo shoot was in order! Whilst sitting near the water I had some spectators that swam over to see if I had any food

Hammer
Nice pics, with some nice light reflection picking up the colour.
Westy
Thanks mate. It's a difficult colour to get good pics of as it really only shows up properly in direct sunlight! But luckily the clouds parted for a few moments!lol
Westy
Lad at work actually asked me if I was going to have this car resprayed...when I asked why I would do that as the paint is in great condition for a car of its age...he replied "well it's hardly the sexiest of colours is it"!!! I promptly laughed in his face and told him he didn't have a clue!

Westy
I agree with him.... Expected a comment like that! (Did think it would come from Sunny though!haha!) I did initially think he was winding me up but he was 100% serious!lol
Fitz
I think its a great colour although people do have their opinions. Its like marmite, some like, some hate. Just be prepared for those negative comments. p.s.

CraigGilchrist
Looks awesome with the club banners in the photos. It was a pic of an MSB aero that made me decide I definitely needed to get a Supra (way back when I bought my first one).

SPG
Or let Liam take one Just imagine for a second that Mark allowed someone else to drive his car (far fetched already I know!!!), what do you think would happen if it were to suddenly rain, after the panic attack Mark would probably find a corner and start to sway back and forth.......my precious!!!! Westy
It would be their responsibility to clean! Not mine! Plus this car is always out in the rain!lol
