Faulty boost gauge?

Symptoms are that the boost gauge is over reading and not consistently.

 

Today the boost controller was consistently reading 1.6bar and the boost gauge peaked at 2.4 bar. The aem (displayed on the dash 2) is reading slightly lower than the boost controller 1.4-1.5.

 

Is it a case of ordering a new sensor or starting again? Or is there a fix?
