monkey76364 Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 Tried to for my centre decat pipe today (chris Wilson made one) it the centre pipe out, went to marry up the decat to the down pipe (original 1st cat still in place), found that the 1st cat has a slight flange/ ring that sits out slightly stopping the decat pipe from marrying up.... Is this normal? Has a different 1st cat been fitted or can I get anything to help make it fit. It's a jspec n/a. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The restrictor ring is an aftermarket part, used to restrict boost once the cats have been removed. The uk and JSpec decats are different, but as far as I'm aware, its the flange size and bolt spacing that is different. Internal diameter is the same.
