Matsi
I have a chance of getting some nice 18 alloys, 9j wide et 42, would they fit a supra, some idiot at tyre spot said I would be able to turn my wheels and I would need 265 wide tyres? I thought I would be running 235, would the wheels fit? Thanks guys
safcdixon
I run 235 tyres on a 9.5" rim so more narrow tyres shouldn't be a problem, as for fitting et42 isnt far off stock if Iirc
Matsi
Thanks for the reply, I don't know if I should buy the wheels because they are 9j all round, souls I just spend abit more money and get staggered set instead
Zeiretto
OEM wheels are staggered, I think you should go the same route with aftermarket. They'll probably fit but it wouldn't be optimal.
Matsi
Thanks for the advice I think I will just save up and look for a staggered set.
safcdixon
Yeah as zeiretto says buy staggered ones, theres plenty of cheap new/2nd hand wheels about these days so its not worth buying non staggered ones that could affect the balance/grip of the car
