Fly
Hi guys, Just coming to the end of my NA-T build and reconnected the battery to find i now have a cat overheat warning. Annoyingly due to some very rusted bolts and lack of space to get under the car i had to cut the sensor when i removed the original exhaust, since then the sensor as been rewired but i am still showing an overheat warning. Do i have to reset something somewhere to remove it? i havent checked the diagnostic codes yet as the battery is off and on whilst the emanage has been going in. Lastly if i simply removed the bulb/wire from the dash would this have any adverse effects on the ECU? assuming the plan above does not give the desired results. Thanks again

straightsix
If you're not bothered about it you can remove the bulb with no ill effects. Are you sure your connections are sound?
