peter richards
guys posted up a question a few months back , where my bonnet wasn't sitting tight on the drivers side , fiddled about abit with it , but its still not right and comes open when driving . so whats my options here I don't think it adjusts and I don't feel 100% safe with it like it is .and not sure on the aerocatches . advice appreciated peter
safcdixon
You could try a new/newer set, they are easy enough to change over, aerocatches are ideal though theres no way they are going to open when driving
peter richards
don't like the look of the areos on the bonnet tbh , ill see if keron has some normal ones
straightsix
Did you use different blots when adjusting the bonnet catch? The originals are self centering so you need to swap them for normal bolts or you won't get any degree of adjustment on the catch.
peter richards
no , not tried that , sometimes its ok and the lever inside goes flush , and its down , but then pops up again over bumps so bit afraid atm that if im going fast it might blow over
straightsix
Try swapping the bolts then and adjust the catch upwards to engage the loop on the bonnet properly. You might also have to screw the rubber stops in a little more. You'll have to play around with it to get it right
