Nick85
Currently got the front of the car jacked up as I've already done and oil and filter change, I've ran it back up to temperature and checked for leaks (wasn't any). Have also just torqued up the subframe bolts. (Only one slightly loose). Is there anything else that is worth checking while its up? Doing a coolant change in a couple of weeks so it'll be back up in the air again then. So far I've got some silicone top and bottom radiator hoses that I will change when doing coolant. Going to get coolant, radiator cap and thermostat from Toyota too. Anything else I will need? Thanks
Rich.2211
Maybe a new gasket for the thermostat housing? Check there are no leaks from the power steering rack? Have a good check of your radiator and make sure it's in good condition i.e no damp patches and no cracks in the plastic parts etc.
Nic
Check wheel bearings for play. Check brakes are moving freely and condition of pads, discs, tyres, check for brake fluid leaks. Check condition of the crank pulley. Check for play in suspension bushes, ball joints, drop links, check suspension dampers for leaks, also torque up all the suspension arm bolts.
