Misfire when 2nd turbo kicks in

I have a similar problem but only after a very short journey. On longer journeys, or if I leave the car running a couple of minutes after, it doesn't happen.

I've changed plugs and clips too.

My next step is to remove the O2 sensor and replace with a new one.

After that, I think the only other option is new coil packs :(

The O2 sensor only effects fuelling at low rpm when in closed loop, it won't cause a misfire at higher rpm on boost.

What plugs do you have fitted?

i have this very same problem, mis-fire on boost. i have a 95 auto with 165000km on the clock. what was the mileage of your car when the problem started? would it seem this problem is becoming common around a certain mileage?

In the last year and half I have developed a misfire twice and both times it turned out to be my brand new supersparx coil packs. Both sets did less than 1500 miles. Fitted old Toyota ones and as good as gold since.

intresting as i have superparx and a cold satrt miss , maybe something to check
