Fifty
Well 1/2 way through my first week back at work; takes 1 hr to get there in the morning cos its early, 70 miles aech way!BUT takes nearly 2 hours to get home because of the heavy traffic. I havent used the Supra this week but may do on Friday. On the upside my diesel bomb 306 has done over 420 miles with 1/4 tank left So who travels daily and how far?? (new job is going OK ; bit strange at first though aint it!)

Ewen
Hi Fifty+, I used to blat up the M27 / A31 from Southamton to poole circa 1000 miles a fortnight....it was cheaper to move house....I now live 8 miles from work, 8 miles of cars a day there an back an Im lucky to get 18 / gal during the week....theres several routes home, between 8 miles (stuck in traffic) right up to 20 miles (overtaking traffic) on sunny evenings
Fifty
Hi Ewen well its gonna be hard when its cold and dark thats for sure; we may well move when Ive been there a while btw I meant the ladies are topless not the sandwiches lol Its only gonna cost £220 a month for fuel though so not so bad.
RedM
18 miles door to door. Mostly urban driving and a little bit of country B road. Would like to work closer and halve that fuel bill.
Supra_Nish
I've been goin to hatfield for the last 2 weeks, 70 mile round trip. CJ
Work wise, I average 500 - 600 miles per week. I then average another 500 miles on the weekend by picking up and taking home my sons who live in wales with their mum.
MARTIN R
None, I get the GF to take me to the train station. I just cant leave the Supe at a train station all day, reckon the local kids would inflict some kind of key scratch art on it

magicmatty
Been doing 100 miles to work and back everyday for the past 3 years.....(Last 6 months in the supra) Bought a trusty/rusty white astravan to take a bit instead and its done me proud. 45 mpg / 18mpg Hhhmmmmm, Ill take the van - leave it anywhere and genuinely dont care about it - its refreshing. But I LOVE the early morning trip, especially in the early darkness (I think its a fetish) New blue dash looks sweet - LOVE IT.. (Get up at 5 every day and hit the empty road)
Supragal
I drive about 35 miles to work, then about 26 mid day to my other half of work, then about 35 home again... been doing that for 4 weeks now, takes me about 45 mins for the 1st and last run because I start at 8 and finish at 4, lucky because any later and the traffic would be terrible. Used to live walking distance... then 15 mins... now this... just couldn't afford a house in Windlesham!!!
RobSheffield
1.3 miles exactly!

Gaz Walker
I'm 20 miles away from Envy, 40 a day, six days a week. I once thought I might be better off sleeping there. When we do some more building work I think I'll get a bedroom, and a shower cubicle in the toilets! Gaz.
Digsy
50 mile round trip for me, Supra as a daily drive. I wish petrol was cheaper
Ewen
I was the only one in one Sat morning at work, and a fax came in inviting the MD to the launch part for a yacht in Lowestoft (400 miles away) the following Tuesday. I re-sent the fax to the MDs home, then I 'modded' name the invite was for to a guy I worked with (he deserved it honest), put it through the machine for a copy, then left it on the machine for monday morning......this guy was last in so Id spread the word around...he was so up his own ass as being the only guy in the office with an invite - he took the rest of the day off to buy a dinner suit and drove up there Tues (seven hours) only to be refused at the yard gate as he didnt have an invite....he was even more pissed off when he got back as the boss refused to pay him mileage for non-work related travel.......he never found out who it was
GeordieSteve
I was the only......who it was MUHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA PMSL Great story and inspiring!
dangerous brain
I did 70 miles each way a day from poole to just past basingstoke for 10 years. I now do 40 miles from poole to the other side of salisbury. It takes longer to get home now than it used to from basingstoke I went through different diesels from an ax to a bx etstate to a sierra estate. i used to take the supe in on fridays as a treat if it wasnt raining. ivan
Live in Poole, work in Verwood. That's a 36 mile round trip, and 99% of the time it's in the Supra Going to work usually takes about 20 mins, coming back it's always 45 or so because of the muppets in Bournemouth. Unless DB's in front that is, then it's about 15 minutes..
irfan_habib
My journey is about 14 miles (30 mins) each way, always going against traffic so takes about the same time in the mornings and evenings. Though since the weather has been so good the last few weeks, I find myself taking the really long way home each evening, few times have managed to make my 14 mile journey into a 60 mile one!?
