Definitely definitely remove it :) And clean up the mess left by scotchloks :scare:

 

And, errr, what's the exposed solder work on the loom? I assume this is a work in progress..?

 

Ok thanks that's good to know the Syvec's will also sort this out :) ill remove it and tidy all the scotchloks marks up.

 

The exposed solder work was from were someone had wired in another after market engine management unit, not the best work done as you can see but this isn't of my car but will be going on it once I've cleaned it all up, so yeah it's a work in progress, be starting a thread soon to what I'm doing :eyebrows:

 

If I remove any unwanted plugs is it just a case of cutting them off and neatly taping or getting heat shrink over the cut to protect it, or will cutting plugs off mess with the loom and cause me problems does anyone know?
