adarmo
Hi, My Supra currently has a Veilside nosecone on it and I want to swap it back to OEM. I have an OEM nosecone but before I remove the veilside I wondered if anyone could tell me if I'm likely to need any other parts as I'd like to do it in one go rather than have the car off the road. If anyone has any pics so I can see what should be there that would be great. I'm thinking bumper reinforcing strips, plastic ducting any special fixings etc Thanks
listy
There should be a metal strip either side where the bumper attaches to the wing. There should be a polystyrene insert in the oem front bumper. You should have a crash bar (sometimes removed when an aftermarket front is fitted) There should also be an oem undertray iirc. I think that's it. Someone else will add if there is anything more. adarmo
Thanks I'll have a look at the bumper and car to see what's there / missing
adarmo
Had a good look today. What fits around the mouth / rad intake of the bumper ? Mine has holes top and bottom and nothing to fit to. Is all that holds the bumper on the two side strips and the top strip by the rad ? Doesn't seem much

Possibly custom number plate brackets at some point.
straightsix
Upper holes are for plastic clips that press into the bottom of the crash bar and the lower holes are for a reinforcement strip.
